Death Note Vol.1

In this first volume of Death Note, readers are introduced to Light Yagami, a brilliant but bored high school student who stumbles upon a mysterious notebook. This notebook, dropped by a death god named Ryuk, has the power to kill anyone whose name is written within its pages. Light decides to use this power to rid the world of evil, creating a new world order under the alias 'Kira'. However, his actions soon attract the attention of the brilliant detective known only as L, who vows to unmask Kira and bring him to justice. This sets the stage for a thrilling cat-and-mouse game filled with suspense, psychological warfare, and moral ambiguity as Light and L engage in an intellectual battle of wits. The story explores themes of justice, morality, and the corrupting nature of power.
